2011 Sacramento Auto Show!

I took off to Sacramento for my first Auto Show of the season. It was so fun getting on stage and talking about the 2012 Lincoln MKX and interacting with all the consumers and car enthusiasts. I had a dreamy-eyed moment of my own when I got the opportunity to sit in my all time favorite car, the ’55 Thunderbird in robin egg blue. I can’t wait until my next show in Detroit!

SI Joint Dysfunction

Definitely one of my more interesting roles while working at a trade show! I’m helping demonstrate the different tests performed to diagnose SI Joint dysfunction, a commonly misdiagnosed form of lower back pain.  The physical therapist performed 5 simple tests that doctors could use back in their offices to better diagnose patients.  Glad my SI Joint is functioning pain free!

National Convenient Store Show

This was my first time working at the National Convenient Store show and with Pri-Pak, what a show!  It was packed with all things convenient from energy drinks and snacks to packaging companies and everyone was having a blast.  At the Pri-Pak booth, I educated attendees on the company, collected leads, and sampled different drinks that were bottled through Pri-Pak, a contract bottling company.

Dos XX Concert Series Events

I’ve just wrapped up Managing a series of Dos XX concert events in Chicago and New York for the Dave Matthews Band Caravan and the North Coast Music Festival.  In addition to the tent serving Dos XX beer, we invited guests visit the Dos Equis beer garden, registered them for the League of the Most Interesting and encouraged them to participate in the log rolling competition.  As the Lead Model I had to make sure everything was running smoothly per the clients requests, ensure the talent were all set for the day, take pictures, and keep up the group’s positive attitude.  At the end of the activation the client sent out a letter saying “All the models have been fantastic. If there was an option to travel this team to every event, I would.  They are all self motivated and deal with adverse circumstances with grace. ( rain, drunk patrons and endless pumping electronic dance music ).  They have also been working as a team all weekend. I think you definitely found your A team!“. I love getting such great feedback!
